Mogen is a 5 year old shepherd mix with a soft, loving nature and a heart that is deeply connected to people. He was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea just before many dogs are killed. Despite his past, Mogen is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and eager to bond with those around him.

He is a true people dog who loves closeness and attention. Mogen is calm and sweet, often seeking quiet companionship rather than chaos. He can be a little sensitive at first, but warms up quickly and becomes very loyal, following his person everywhere once he feels safe.

With other dogs, Mogen is neutral. He is not particularly interested in playing but feels comfortable having them around and has lived peacefully with other dogs. He does not show resource guarding and has a gentle, non confrontational nature.

Mogen is an easy dog to live with. He is calm in the home, enjoys toys and gentle play like tug, and loves interactive time with his people. He especially enjoys chew treats and simple games. He does not demand much and is happy with a relaxed lifestyle.

On walks, Mogen is slow, calm, and responsive. He walks best on a harness and responds well to gentle guidance. He is sensitive to pressure and does not do well with force, but with patience he listens well and follows human cues. He manages stairs well, taking his time going down and sometimes rushing a bit going up.

He has good toilet habits, preferring to go outside but also able to use pee pads indoors if needed.

Mogen does have a few sensitivities. He can feel slightly anxious when someone is behind him while he is eating, and he is sensitive with handling around his front paws. With gentle, patient handling, he is cooperative and trusting.
