Thomas is a young male chow chow (around 2-3 years old) with that unmistakable chow charm. He was found on the streets together with another Chow Chow after they were dumped and left behind. The previous owner was located and confirmed they were no longer wanted. His buddy already found a home, and now its Thomas’ turn.
Despite what he’s been through, Thomas is honestly a sweetheart. He’s very friendly with people, but he comes with that classic chow chow personality: a little aloof, a little independent, and very much on his own schedule. He’s not the type to be “in your face” all day, but if you understand the breed, you know how special that quiet loyalty is when it grows.
Thomas is the kind of dog who will thrive with someone calm and confident someone who respects his space, sets clear boundaries, and lets trust build naturally. When you give a chow that kind of steady, consistent home, you don’t just get a pet, you get a truly devoted companion.
Thomas is looking for an experiences, calm home that understands chow chows thrive with consistent handling and clear boundaries. He’ll do best with people who wont overwhelm him, but who can gently guide him and give him structure. A predictable routine, calm leadership, and patience will help him settle and show his best self. We did cat test him and he shows a lot of interest, can be possible to test again in an experienced home that can do slow, structured introductions.
Thomas could be an incredibly rewarding companion the kind of dog who bonds deeply and stays by your side in his own quiet, steady way.
