Hey there, and welcome. I’m Helena, and this is my little space to share everything about building Moon & Meadow. Think of it as a window into my world a place to laugh, to learn, to stumble through the chaos with me, and sometimes just to pause and feel a little calm.
For me, this all started with animals. Always animals. Cats, dogs, horses you name it. If it needed a home or a little care, somehow it found its way to me. There is something about the quiet of a creature beside you that makes everything else fade away. It teaches patience, trust, and empathy in ways nothing else can. I think that is why Moon & Meadow exists in the first place. I want to share that feeling that little spark of calm and connection that only comes from being with animals who just get it.
Moon & Meadow is my attempt to build a softer kind of world. One where animals are safe, where people can breathe, and where nature is not something you visit once in a while, but something you return to when life feels heavy. Even though the farm is not open yet, the journey is already full of life. Every plan I make, every animal I meet, every tiny lesson I learn shapes what I am building.
I catch myself imagining the first time a child brushes a horse’s mane. The quiet moments someone will have walking alongside a dog. The simple joy of a rescued animal finally settling into peace. Those small moments are what keep me going on the long days when everything feels impossible.
The Meadow Journal is my way of sharing all of this with you. Not just the successes, but the messy in between moments too. Stories from my experiences, lessons I am learning, tips for natural living, recipes for growing and cooking, little discoveries that make a day feel brighter. Some days it will be funny, some days chaotic, some days messy and funny at the same time. I want this to feel like sitting down for a cup of tea with a friend and sharing what is really going on.
And this is not just my story. If you want to share yours, if there is something you think the rest of us would love to hear, please reach out. I would genuinely love to feature your experiences, discoveries, or reflections. The Meadow Journal is a space for all of us and I cannot wait to hear what you have to share.
Thank you for stopping by, for reading, for being curious, or just for sitting with me for a while. I am so excited to share every small victory, every little lesson, every life I am lucky enough to touch along the way. And I hope that, in some way, this corner of the internet makes you feel the same quiet spark that makes me fall in love with this work over and over again.
