Meet Lola, a 1 year old Malinois girl looking for a truly suitable home in the Netherlands, Germany, or Belgium. Lola has a big personality. She is confident, very energetic, and she loves to play and be the centre of attention. She is the type of dog who is always on and ready for what is next.
Lola lives life at 100 percent. She loves running, tug games, chasing toys, and generally doing everything with enthusiasm and intensity. She is fun, driven, and full of potential, but she is also an intense adolescent Malinois who needs the right guidance to grow into a balanced adult dog. With structure and training, Lola will be incredible. Without it, she will simply create her own entertainment.
Because she is so switched on, Lola needs clear structure, consistent rules, and daily training. She can be strong with other dogs and may try to take control in certain situations, so we are looking for an experienced home. Ideally someone with working breeds, shepherds, or Malinois experience, or someone who is genuinely committed to training and understands what it means to raise a powerful, busy young Malinois.
Lola will do best in a home that has experience with working breeds or is fully committed to consistent training. She needs daily mental stimulation, structured exercise, and calm leadership. Clear boundaries will help her feel secure and will shape her into the brilliant dog she can be.
Important to know
Very little leash experience, so walking nicely on leash still needs to be taught
Not completely toilet trained yet, so this will be a fresh start from the beginning
Needs routine, calm leadership, and consistent boundaries
Can be strong with other dogs and may try to take control in certain situations
We do not know how she is with cats yet, so only reach out if you are willing to introduce and test safely and slowly
Malinois are brilliant dogs but they are not an easy breed. They need a combination of mental work, physical exercise, and structure every single day. Without that, they can become overstimulated, frustrated, and start creating their own jobs like destructive behaviour, obsessive habits, or reactivity.
Lola will thrive in a home that enjoys training and can channel her drive into something positive. In return, you will get a smart, loyal, energetic companion who is ready to work with you and give you everything she has.
