We have never seen a dog who has changed so much and who has wanted to. When Bhim was rescued he was scared and uncertain. With time, patience, and love, he has transformed into the happiest, goofiest, most affectionate boy. All he needs now is someone to give him the home he has been waiting for.

Bhim does carry a few marks from his past. He has an old leg injury and some scars, but you would never know it watching him play. He runs, bounces, and zooms with no problems at all, and vets have confirmed he needs no medical care for it now or in the future.

Despite everything, Bhim chose joy. He’s the type of dog who does silly little twirls when he want a toy or gets excited. He’ll happily make you laugh with his goofy ways and melt your heart with his loyalty.

Bhim can be sensitive with unfamiliar people at first. When he was first rescued, he showed this as well, but with the right guidance and consistent training, it completely improved and he became confident and social. After travel and some changes in his environment, he has lost a bit of that confidence again, so he will need someone who is willing to continue that work and help him rebuild his trust.

This is not something that defines him, but it is something to be aware of. With the right approach, Bhim has already shown how much he is capable of growing.

What he’s looking for

Bhim has energy to spare, but it’s the happy, wiggly kind. He’s jumpy when excited and adores attention, he also loves to learn. He’d be perfect for someone active who enjoys walks, playtime, and training games. He’d do fine in an aparmtent with enough exercise. What he really needs is love, patience, and a sense of leadership and confidence, because he’ll give his whole heart in return.
